Assessment Tests

A Placement Test determines the most appropriate diagnostic test for the each user to attempt.

Diagnostic Test 1 - establishes the user's competence level on these spelling skills:- regular consonant /short vowel, regular consonant words, initial and final consonant blends, consonant digraphs, digraph-consonant blends, double consonants, forming plurals and simple multi-syllabic words.

Diagnostic Test 2 - establishes the user's competence level on these spelling skills:- long vowel sounds, vowel digraphs and diphthongs, vowels before "r", silent consonants, soft consonant sounds, verb endings and harder plurals.

Diagnostic Test 3 - establishes the user's competence level on these spelling skills:- prefixes, suffixes, prefix and suffix in the same word, homophones and commonly confused words.
