Features and Benefits for Your Child or Student
Phonics: Lesson-based exercises
to develop accurate and reliable reading skills.
Covering blends, digraphs, double-vowel rule, bossy ‘e’ rule, dipthongs,
vowels with ‘r’, silent letters, soft ‘c’ and ‘g’ rule, long vowel sounds.
Promotes accurate and reliable reading skills, starting with common
blends at the beginning and ending of words through to double-letter
sounds and the mastery of increasingly complex sounds.
Spelling: Includes 32 word lists,
sorted phonetically, with 5 different spelling games. Reinforces spelling
and vocabulary skills using sound, text and visual cues, including sentences
for context.
Reading: Includes 32 graded passages
with topics that will appeal to any reader. Encourages improved reading
ability by tracking the student’s reading speed, comprehension of what
has been read, and selection of unfamiliar words.
Grammar: Teaches an understanding
of English grammar rules and their correct use with such topics as:
Abbreviations, Adjectives, Articles, Calendar, Capitals & Full Stops,
Compound Words, Homonyms, Nouns, Numbers, Opposites, Plurals, Sentences,
Time, Verbs and more.
Mathematics: Covering basic addition,
subtraction and multiplication, and introducing division, using randomly
generated questions, with interactive tutorial support at each level.
Thinking skills: Covering brainteasers, logic
problems, word problems, sequencing, and general knowledge.
