Reading Freedom is a comprehensive, fully integrated phonics program
that is carefully structured to teach students the skills they need
to become effective readers.
Reading Freedom 3 is specifically designed for students at the
intermediate stage of their reading acquisition, including those students
with reading problems.
The program enables students to use sophisticated phonics skills to
read words containing dipthongs, vowel sounds before 'r', vowel digraphs
and silent letters, and asks them to demonstrate mastery of these words
through a series of activities. This involves blending words that cannot
be recognised immediately, spelling, basic sight vocabulary, and extensive
word recognition activities.
The interactive exercises, voice-over support, motivational activities
and reinforcement through positive feedback combine to help students
gradually develop their skills so they can read these words with accuracy
and fluency.
Enrichment activities then ask students to demonstrate their mastery
of the skills taught at this level by participating in extensive comprehension
exercises.

This software is suitable for primary and secondary school students

skills of students of all ages and abilities. It has been carefully
structured to enable students to become independent readers for their
own enjoyment.
The program continuously monitors students as they progress through
the learning modules, and only when they have displayed competency within
