Opening Screen

Select one of nine speakers with a range of accents and speaking styles.

There are three levels of difficulty for each speaker: Lower Intermediate, Upper Intermediate or Advanced levels.

Language exercises

Read the question and drag the best answer into the box. (Level 1 - Questions example)

Written and Spoken Cloze. Drag correct word into text. (Level 2 - Cloze example)

Pause Groups exercises

Play the video and click between each pause group, then record yourself. (Level 1 - Mark & Record example)

Stress exercises

Play the video, click on the words where you heard stress, then record yourself. (Level 2 - Mark & Record example)

Click on the syllable that is stressed in single words.

Pitch Change exercises

Play the video and click where the pitch changes. Then record yourself. (Level 1 - Mark & Record example)

Show the pitch change at the end of the pause groups. (Level 2 - Dialogues example)

Linking exercise

Play the video and click between the words that are linked, then record yourself. (Level 2 - Mark & Record example)

Sounds exercise

Listen to video. Click on the words and then the syllables with the indicated sound in them.

Match the word and pronunciation. (Level 2 - Vowels & Diphthongs example)

Syllables exercise

click on the number of syllables and the stress syllable in the marked words. (Level 2 - Mark Up example)
