AussieSpell

AussieSpell is a well-loved program around Australia.

It is suitable for older students and adult learners.

The AussieSpell program is a comprehensive spelling package based on a sequential development of spelling skills, ranging from the ability to spell the simplest three-letter words to harder multi-syllabic words.

This program is designed to assist users of all ages develop spelling skills at their own pace.

AussieSpell has a sound and proven educational base. The program includes 3320 words in 166 word lists, each of twenty words. There are 136 word lists which highlight particular spelling patterns or rules. Five word lists contain 100 of the most commonly misspelt words and seventeen word lists contain 340 of the most frequently used words. There are also 6 word lists of Australian words - Australian flora and fauna, and indigenous Australian words.

AussieSpell Workbook

A guide to spelling and activity sheets are also available to accompany AussieSpell's CD program. It has been written by Australian teachers who have extensive backgrounds in basic literacy education.

The workbook contains useful information and worksheets designed to improve spelling skills. It can be used with 6 year olds to adult learners.
